Just a 5-minute stroll to Beacon Park and a 10-minute downhill walk to the bustling town centre, our B&B offers the perfect blend of tranquillity and convenience. Penrith’s prime location on the M6 and A66 makes it an ideal hub for travellers. Whether you’re cycling the Coast to Coast (C2C) or John O’Groats to Lands’ End routes, or seeking adventure in the nearby national park, there’s no shortage of activities. From hiking and biking to wild swimming and ghyll scrambling, outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to do. History enthusiasts can also indulge in exploring sites ranging from the Neolithic period to more recent historical landmarks.
North View B&B is a beautifully restored Victorian home, where I am delighted to be your host. Our two stylish bedrooms—a twin/king and a double—are located on the top floor, sharing a bathroom. Each room features stunning views of the northern fells of the Lake District, along with cosy beds, tea and coffee facilities, fresh towels, a hairdryer and free WiFi. Guests are welcome to relax in our garden or enjoy the front room with TV after a day of exploration.

Travel Information
- For those who are cycling to the B&B, I have a secure bike storage available.
- For those who are driving, there is free street parking by the B&B.
- For those coming by train/coach, it is a 10/15 min walk to the B&B. Just so you know, Penrith is hilly so if you come with a big/heavy bag, we strongly suggest taking a taxi from the station.
The price includes a delicious continental breakfast with homemade jams, homemade granola, muesli, toast and croissant, yoghurt, juice and of course tea/coffee/hot chocolate and delicious milk from a local farm. There will be plenty to fill you up before you head up to explore the area. I am very keen on helping local businesses and organisations whenever I can. The milk comes from a local farm, the jams are made with locally sourced fruits whenever possible and 2% of the profits are donated to the Penrith Mountain Rescue.
