Why travel with us?
Ethical and sustainable tourism is at the heart of what we do, whether at home in the UK or further afield in Tunisia. This is how:
Eco-tourism
- Connect with Nature: We take our clients to breathtaking natural areas, helping them appreciate the landscape and learn about the environment.
- Well-being in Nature: Our holidays offer a chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with ourselves. Immersing in nature promotes mental and physical well-being, helping you to let go of what no longer serves you and recharge.
- Responsible Exploration: Our tours are designed to minimize environmental impact while maximising your connection to nature. We only take small groups.
Long Term Sustainability:
- Support Local Communities: We prioritise shopping locally in independent businesses, ensuring that your spending benefits the community.
- Fair Wages: Our Tunisian team members are paid good wages which helps them support their families, their community and the local economy.
- Supporting Local Initiatives: We donate 2% of our B&B profits to Penrith Mountain Rescue, contributing much-needed funds to help keep the team operational so that they can keep people safe while enjoying the outdoors.
- Sustained Impact: Our focus is on creating lasting benefits for the environment and communities we interact with, ensuring our activities observe long-term ecological support and social well-being.
Learning
- Local knowledge: Our destinations are more than just beautiful landscapes. We share our deep local knowledge to enrich your travel experience.
- Best Practices: Learn the best practices for safeguarding the environment and ourselves while enjoying your surroundings to foster a deeper understanding of sustainable living.
- Shared Insights: Gain insights from one another by sharing knowledge, culture and experiences is at the chore of our offering.
Benefits
- Boost Local Economies: By supporting local independent businesses, we ensure that the economic benefits of our activities reach the right people.
- Community Engagement: We work closely with local communities, ensuring our tours benefit everyone involved. Our economic initiatives focus on immediate, tangible support for these communities, driving short-term growth and prosperity.
Cultural Exchange
- Immersive Experiences: No matter which of our destinations you choose, you’ll be immersed in the local culture. Sharing and learning are integral parts of our travel packages.
Ethical Adventures with Sustainable Practices

- Our energy comes from a British renewable energy group specialising in sustainable solutions.
In Tunisia

- Plastic use reduction: We reduce the usage of plastic (plastic bottles and carrier bags) during our walking holidays.
- Eco-friendly Cooking: We cook on open fires, avoid the use of gas canisters.
- Leave no trace: We take our rubbish with us or burn it if appropriate.
