A classic Cumbrian adventure awaits! We begin walking along the valley floor, then ascend to the cliff-edge spectacle of High Cup Nick, a valley deeply incised into the Pennine scarp. Return to Dufton, taking in rugged ridges, sweeping landscapes, and the iconic glacial amphitheatre that makes this a must-do walk for fell enthusiasts. It is considered one of the finest natural features of northern England and Alfred Wainwright, the famous fellwalker, described High Cup as “a great moment on the journey” in his book Pennine Way Companion.
